🍏 Sweet Treat: Campfire Apple Crisp Recipe
After a full day of festival fun or Halloween excitement, unwind around the fire with this easy fall favorite — Campfire Apple Crisp!
Ingredients:
- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter (cut into small pieces)
- Foil for wrapping
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix apples, half the brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix oats, flour, remaining sugar, and butter until crumbly.
- Layer apple mixture and topping in a large piece of foil. Seal tightly.
- Place over campfire coals for 10–15 minutes, turning once.
